Commentaries
Globalization, massification, commercialization and other changes in higher education are already the subject of much debate. Yet, as a community of scholars we have yet to produce the empirical analyses and intellectual frameworks needed to explain why, how, and to what end these transnational shifts are changing public universities everywhere. The essays found below are meant to encourage an informed dialogue on the changes underway in higher education and the requisite research to better understand these changes.
